Meridian Mining: Overview

Overview

Meridian Mining (LON/ TSX: MNO) is focused on developing the Cabaçal gold/ copper project in Brazil, a former producing mine that management believes can be redeveloped into a long-life, low-cost operation with exposure to both copper and gold. Recent financing and a London listing have strengthened the balance sheet and broadened access to capital. For investors, the attraction is clear: if Cabaçal can be built broadly on schedule and budget, Meridian could graduate from junior developer to mid-tier producer. A Definitive Feasibility Study published in September 2026 outlined a Base Case Total Life of Mine (LOM) Revenue $5.4 billion and LOM After-Tax Free Cash flow of $2.9 billion. Cabaçal has a low All-in-Sustaining-Cost of $715 per ounce gold equivalent and an annual production profile of 183,526 oz of gold equivalent life of mine.
