JLEN acquires interest in 16.8MW Energy-from-waste plant in Italy
FTSE- 250 JLEN, the environmental infrastructure fund, has acquired a 45% interest in Energie Tecnologie Ambiente S.r.l. a 16.8MW energy-from-waste power plant which processes Refuse Derived Fuel. The plant is located in Manfredonia in the Apulia region of southern Italy, and represents JLEN’s first investment in Italy. The €26.75m investment has been made alongside Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners, which will take an equal 45% equity stake.
