Five Minute Pitch TV spent a week in Cape Town, South Africa, producing mining sector films, video podcasts and CEO interviews at Mining Indaba 2026, one of the world’s largest mining investment conferences.
Working on behalf of Interactive Investor, which serves more than 500,000 retail investors, we filmed a series of interviews with mining executives, analysts and industry commentators, creating investor-focused content covering the companies, commodities and themes shaping the global mining industry.
The companies we interviewed reflected the breadth of today’s mining sector. From uranium specialist Yellow Cake and rare earth developer Rainbow Rare Earths to Lifezone Metals’ world-class Kabanga nickel project in Tanzania and Kodal Minerals’ emerging lithium production in Mali, the conference highlighted the growing importance of critical minerals in the global economy. We also spoke to companies such as Andrada Mining and KEFI Gold & Copper, which are advancing significant projects across Africa as demand for gold, battery metals and strategic resources continues to grow.
Alongside company interviews, we captured insights from experienced mining analysts and industry commentators, providing investors with a broader perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing the mining industry. Topics ranged from the outlook for uranium and gold prices to the increasing importance of rare earths, battery metals and secure mineral supply chains.
Mining Indaba brings together some of the most interesting companies in the global mining industry, making it an ideal environment for producing investor-focused content. Over the course of a week we captured a wide range of perspectives from mining executives, analysts and commentators, creating a valuable library of films, video podcasts and social media content for Interactive Investor’s channels, which we have helped build over the past 12 years.
