Goodwin is one of Britain’s longest-established engineering companies, having been founded in 1883. Today, it employs more than 1,250 people worldwide and designs and manufactures specialist products for industries including defence, nuclear, energy and industrial processing.

The company has built a strong long-term record by focusing on specialist engineering, supplying products where quality, reliability and technical expertise are critical. Its latest trading update confirmed that business remains in line with expectations, with a fixed order book of around £288 million.

Goodwin is another reminder that Britain remains home to world-class engineering businesses, many of which receive little attention despite supplying customers around the globe.
