Aterian Plc (LON: ATN) is a London-listed critical minerals exploration and development company focused on Africa, with a diversified portfolio of copper, lithium, tin, tantalum and other battery-related metals across Morocco, Rwanda and Botswana. The company is primarily in the exploration and early development stage, but it is increasingly combining this with a small-scale mineral trading business in Rwanda to generate early revenue and help fund its projects. Its strategy is centred on securing and developing high-potential assets in regions such as the Kalahari Copper Belt and Moroccan Anti-Atlas, often in partnership or earn-in agreements with larger mining groups, while positioning itself to benefit from global demand for energy transition metals.
