Harena Rare Earths (LON: HRE) is focused on developing the Ampasindava Ionic Clay Rare Earth Project in Northern Madagascar. Rare earths have been in the limelight over the last couple of years, with western nations looking to end the decades long reliance on Chinese supply of these critical metals. Rare earth metals, especially Neodymium (Nd), Praseodymium (Pr), Dysprosium (Dy) & Terbium (Tb) are critical not only for the energy transition (especially in wind turbines and electric cars), but also in defence (fighter jets, drones and satellites).
