Atlantic Lithium: PARLIAMENTARY RATIFICATION OF EWOYAA MINING LICENCE

Atlantic lithium (AIM: ALL) has secured a key regulatory breakthrough after Ghana’s parliament ratified the mining lease for its flagship Ewoyaa lithium project, marking a significant step towards bringing the country’s first lithium mine into production. The approval grants the group exclusive rights to develop and operate the project for an initial 15-year term and clears the way for financing discussions and a final investment decision. The ratification, which follows earlier permitting milestones, also formalises revised fiscal terms including a sliding-scale royalty linked to lithium prices, aligning the project with updated Ghanaian mining legislation. Taken together, the move represents a material de-risking event for the company and underscores growing government support for developing a domestic lithium industry, even as execution and funding remain the next critical hurdles.
