Kazera Global (LON: KZG) is focused on early-stage mining and mineral development assets in southern Africa. Its flagship project is the heavy mineral sands and diamond producing project in Alexander Bay, South Africa. From its mineral sands operation, Kazera produces both ilmenite and garnet. Ilmenite is the primary feedstock for producing titanium dioxide (TiO₂). Titanium dioxide is primarily used for pigment production in paints, coatings, plastics, paper, inks, and cosmetics. Garnet is used in abrasives such as sandpaper.
Dennis Edmonds, CEO at Kazera provides an overview of Kazera’s operations, as well as outlining how the project will benefit the local community around Alexander Bay
