Andrada Mining: Drilling uncovers high grade lithium intersections

Critical metals miner Andrada Mining (AIM: ATM) reported a strong set of initial drilling results from its Lithium Ridge project in Namibia, with high-grade lithium intersections confirming both the continuity and scale of mineralisation. Early assays showed grades exceeding 2 per cent lithium oxide over meaningful widths, with peak intervals above 3 per cent, while drilling demonstrated mineralisation extending from surface down to around 160 metres.

The results also highlighted significant polymetallic potential, with associated tin and tantalum mineralisation recorded alongside lithium, pointing to possible by-product credits that could enhance project economics. The programme forms part of a larger 14,000-metre drilling campaign being funded under an earn-in agreement with Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile, which can earn a minority stake in the project. Taken together, the update strengthens the case for Lithium Ridge as a potentially large-scale, long-life asset, while underlining Andrada’s strategy of advancing its portfolio through strategic partnerships and early-stage exploration success.
