Andrada mining (AIM: ATM) reported encouraging early-stage results from its Lithium Ridge project in Namibia, with surface sampling and mapping confirming the presence of high-grade lithium mineralisation across a واسعة and expanding footprint. Multiple samples returned grades above 4% lithium oxide, alongside the identification of spodumene as the dominant lithium-bearing mineral, reinforcing the project’s credentials as a potentially significant hard-rock lithium system.
The update also pointed to meaningful polymetallic upside, with associated tin and tantalum mineralisation identified across the licence area, potentially enhancing future project economics. More than 1,500 pegmatites have been mapped, extending the known mineralised trend and indicating scope for a much larger resource base. Backed by funding from partner SQM under an earn-in agreement, a maiden drilling programme is already under way, with results expected to guide the next phase of development.
