Capital Gearing Asset Management held its annual capital markets day event at the Grocer’s Hall in central London at the end of last year. The team highlighted how its headline fund, Capital Gearing Trust continues to be a steady performer in volatile economic climates.

Through a strategy of avoiding large drawdowns in major market downturns (e.g., the dot-com slump, GFC, COVID-19) has been central to its long-term success, CGT has compounded total returns of ~8.4% per year since 2000.
