AIM-listed Firering Strategic Minerals (LON: FRG) recently commenced producing limestone at it’s Zambia-based operations and is aiming to be the largest limestone producer in the country. Limestone is essential in the production of many critical materials, especially copper. The site is located 22 km west of Lusaka, positioning it ideally as a nearby supplier to the Central African Copperbelt’s expanding copper smelting operations.
