Base Resources: A highly cash generative, dividend paying mining Co.

AIM & ASX listed Base Resources is a highly cash generative, dividend paying mineral sands producer and developer with production and development assets in Kenya & Madagascar. In the 12 months ending 30 June 2020, Base generated revenues of >US$200m from its mineral sands Kwale asset and in the same period paid a maiden dividend of 3.5 cents per share.

The Toliara Project in Madagascar was acquired at the start of 2018 and is described by Tim Carstens, the Group’s CEO as the “best undeveloped mineral sand asset in the world.” In a definitive feasibility study released in December 2019, the asset had a stated mine life of 33 years, with resources of: Ilmenite – 780kt, Zircon – 53kt, Rutile – 7kt.
