Ocean Outdoor Wins Westfield Netherlands
Ocean Outdoor the Digital Out-of-Home (“DOOH”) advertising operator at iconic sites across the UK, the Netherlands, the Nordics & Germany such as the Piccadilly Lights and the BFI IMAX, has today announced that Ocean Outdoor Netherlands has been appointed as the strategic media partner of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW). The site is the Netherland’s largest shopping, dining and leisure destination. Located in the Randstad, the Westifeld mall is due to open at the end of 2020. The appointment followed a competitive pitch.
This is Ocean’s first contract win since entering the Netherlands market and expands Ocean’s premium digital out of home portfolio to 24 European URW shopping malls, in addition to holding the exclusive external media rights to two of Europe’s largest flagship destinations – Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City in the UK.
